UI / UX
design.

End-to-end product design services, research, interaction, design systems, service design, motion and inclusive design delivered by integrated teams under one practice.

Capabilities

A complete design practice across research, product and systems.

From qualitative research and interaction design to design systems, motion, service design and design operations, our practice spans the full lifecycle of modern product design.

Product design & interaction

End-to-end product design, from framing and concept through detailed interaction design and production-ready specifications. Designers embedded with engineering from discovery to release.

User research & usability testing

Generative and evaluative research programmes, qualitative interviews, contextual enquiry, diary studies, moderated and unmoderated testing, feeding evidence directly into design decisions rather than sitting alongside them.

Design systems & component libraries

Enterprise design systems delivered as tokens, components and documentation, versioned, tooled and governed so multiple product teams evolve on shared foundations without divergence.

Information architecture

Taxonomy, navigation, content models and structural design for platforms with breadth and depth, grounded in research and validated through tree testing, card sorting and prototype evaluation.

Service design & journey mapping

End-to-end journeys across digital, physical and human touchpoints, mapped, prototyped and choreographed to align customer experience with operational reality.

Brand & visual identity systems

Visual identity, brand systems and expression standards engineered as product primitives, logo, typography, colour, motion and voice unified across product surfaces and marketing.

UX writing & content design

Interface content, product voice, messaging and copy engineered as a design discipline, informed by research, tested for clarity, and governed through content design guidelines.

Motion, prototyping & animation

Motion design, high-fidelity prototypes and micro-interaction systems, validating concepts before build and delivering the animation vocabulary engineering carries into production.

Accessibility & inclusive design

Accessibility as a design discipline, WCAG 2.2 AA conformance built into components, workflows and content, with inclusive research practices covering the full spectrum of users.

Design operations & governance

Design operations frameworks, tooling, rituals, hiring rubrics, career ladders, contribution models, for organisations scaling design capability across multiple teams and geographies.

Data-informed design & experimentation

Design decisions grounded in behavioural analytics, product telemetry and structured experimentation, pairing qualitative insight with quantitative evidence at every stage of delivery.

Design for emerging interfaces

Interaction patterns for AI-native products, conversational interfaces, voice, mixed reality and multi-modal experiences, grounded in research and validated through prototype-driven exploration.

Engagement model

A structured, iterative approach from discovery to operation.

Our delivery framework integrates research, design and engineering under a single model, designed for transparency, adaptability and outcome alignment.

01

Discover

A structured discovery to understand users, business objectives, the competitive landscape and existing evidence. The output is a shared framing and a phased delivery plan.

02

Define & explore

Concept development, information architecture and interaction models, validated through research and prototypes before we commit to a single direction.

03

Design & deliver

High-fidelity design, systemisation and production handover, delivered in weekly increments alongside engineering, with usability evidence gathered as we go.

04

Evolve & operate

Post-launch measurement, design-system stewardship and continuous evolution. Knowledge transfer is designed into the engagement, not appended to it.

Tools & technology

A modern design and delivery toolchain.

Tool selection is guided by your existing landscape, team capability and long-term operating model, not by preference.

Frequently asked

Common questions from prospective clients.

If your question isn't addressed here, please reach us at hello@tekansa.com.

01What types of design engagements do you deliver?

We deliver a full range of design engagements, from concept and discovery through to production design, design-system engineering and post-launch stewardship. Engagements are scoped around business outcomes and staffed with the right composition of research, product design, interaction, content, motion and design operations capability.

02How do you approach user research and evidence-based design?

Research is embedded in delivery rather than treated as a separate phase. Our practice includes generative research (interviews, contextual enquiry, diary studies) and evaluative research (moderated and unmoderated testing, tree tests, prototype evaluations), designed to inform decisions in-cycle and produce a durable evidence base your teams continue to build on.

03How do you build and maintain design systems at scale?

Design systems are delivered as tokens, components, patterns and documentation, versioned, tooled and governed. Our approach covers contribution models, review workflows, adoption metrics and cross-team governance so the system serves multiple product organisations as a shared foundation rather than a stalled central initiative.

04How do you handle accessibility and inclusive design?

Accessibility is treated as a core design discipline, WCAG 2.2 AA conformance engineered into components, workflows and content, with inclusive research practices covering the full spectrum of users and alignment to regulatory frameworks including the European Accessibility Act, ADA and Section 508.

05How do you work with product and engineering teams during and after delivery?

Our design teams are embedded with client product and engineering counterparts throughout delivery, with pairing, code review, documentation and structured handovers built into the model. Post-delivery, we support design-system stewardship, capability build-out and continuous evolution as your team requires.
