Staff
augmentation.
Vetted engineering, design and product specialists, placed individually or as dedicated teams to extend your in-house capability with predictable capacity and continuity.
Vetted specialists and complete squads , staffed to your programme.
From individual senior placements to full cross-functional pods, nearshore and offshore delivery, and managed teams, our practice covers the full spectrum of engagement models.
Dedicated engineering teams
Full cross-functional teams, product, design, engineering, quality, assembled around your programme, operating as an extension of your organisation rather than a vendor arrangement.
Individual specialist placement
Individual senior and staff-level specialists placed into client teams, matched on technical depth, delivery experience and cultural fit, with performance and continuity guaranteed contractually.
Embedded squads & pods
Complete squads and pods dropped into your delivery organisation, with defined roles, delivery cadence and reporting lines aligned to your existing product operating model.
Team scaling & flex capacity
Predictable capacity for programme spikes, peak-season delivery and post-funding scale-up, with structured ramp-up and ramp-down protocols that protect institutional knowledge on both sides.
Nearshore & offshore delivery
Delivery from balanced onshore, nearshore and offshore locations, with commercial, quality and compliance frameworks that make distributed delivery indistinguishable from co-located.
Time-zone aligned coverage
Coverage models aligned to your primary business hours or across follow-the-sun rotations, supporting continuous delivery, incident response and 24×7 operations for global customer bases.
Full-stack technology coverage
Specialists across web, mobile, backend, data, cloud, security, AI and platform engineering, enabling us to staff complete programmes rather than partial contributions.
Rapid ramp-up & onboarding
Structured onboarding programmes, technical, product and organisational context transferred in defined windows so specialists contribute meaningfully from week two, not week ten.
Talent vetting & selection
A multi-stage vetting programme covering technical depth, delivery experience, communication and cultural fit, with performance reviewed on structured cadence rather than annual cycles.
Managed teams under our delivery model
Teams operating under our delivery framework, with our own engineering leadership, quality practice and reporting cadence, for organisations preferring managed outcomes over managed capacity.
Knowledge transfer & continuity
Structured pairing, code review, documentation and defined transition windows, protecting your organisation from single-person dependency and enabling clean rotation of specialists over time.
Retention & continuity commitment
Long-tenure engineering culture, career pathing and structured re-engagement of specialists across your programmes, providing continuity of context that transactional staffing models cannot.
A structured, transparent approach from brief to placement.
Our engagement model is designed for continuity and outcome alignment, treating placement as the beginning of an engagement, not the end of a procurement process.
Understand
A structured intake to understand the programme, the current team, the operating model and the specific gaps to close. The output is a role brief and a phased staffing plan.
Match & vet
Candidate identification, technical assessment, delivery-experience validation and cultural interview, presenting only the specialists who meet the brief, not a shortlist of near-fits.
Onboard & integrate
Structured onboarding into your product, technical and organisational context, with defined milestones for meaningful contribution and clear escalation channels on both sides.
Operate & evolve
Ongoing performance management, quarterly review cycles and structured rotation planning. Continuity of context is protected through pairing, documentation and defined transition windows.
A broad, modern technology bench.

Common questions from prospective clients.
If your question isn't addressed here, please reach us at hello@tekansa.com.
01What roles and specialist profiles do you typically place?
We place specialists across engineering (front-end, back-end, full-stack, mobile, platform, data, security, AI), design (product, systems, research), product management, quality engineering and delivery leadership. Placements range from individual staff-level and principal specialists through complete cross-functional squads, matched to the shape of the engagement rather than to a stock catalogue.
02How do you vet and select candidates?
Our vetting programme is multi-stage, including recruiter screening, structured technical assessment, portfolio and code review, delivery-experience validation, cultural interview and reference check. We present only candidates who have passed the full programme, and we take responsibility for on-programme performance rather than passing the risk on to the client.
03How quickly can specialists ramp up on the programme?
Ramp-up is treated as a designed engineering activity rather than an assumed one. Our onboarding programme covers technical context, product context and organisational context in structured windows, with defined milestones for meaningful contribution. In practice, most specialists are contributing in the first two weeks and fully integrated by the fourth.
04What commercial and engagement models do you support?
We support all common engagement models: dedicated time-and-materials, capped time-and-materials, milestone-based delivery and managed-service arrangements, with commercial terms structured to align incentives across delivery, quality and long-term continuity. We do not sell hours; we sell outcomes underpinned by capacity.
05How do you handle knowledge transfer, continuity and rotation of specialists?
Continuity of context is protected through structured pairing, documentation, code review and defined transition windows, not through hoping specialists never move. Where rotation happens (planned or otherwise), transition periods are contractually defined so client organisations are protected from single-person dependency at all times.
