SaaS
development.

End-to-end SaaS product engineering, multi-tenant architecture, identity, billing, admin tooling and enterprise readiness delivered by integrated teams under one delivery framework.

Capabilities

A complete SaaS practice from tenancy to enterprise readiness.

From foundational multi-tenant patterns to enterprise-grade identity, billing, admin tooling and compliance, our SaaS practice spans the full lifecycle of modern SaaS delivery.

Multi-tenant architecture

Foundational multi-tenant patterns, from shared-database with row-level isolation through pool and silo models, designed for the scale, data-residency and performance profile of your customer base.

Identity, SSO & access management

Authentication and authorisation for consumer, business and enterprise tiers, including OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML SSO, SCIM provisioning and fine-grained role-based access control.

Subscriptions, billing & metering

Recurring, usage-based and hybrid pricing models with metering, entitlements, dunning and revenue recognition, integrated cleanly with tax, invoicing and financial-reporting systems.

Product-led growth infrastructure

Self-serve onboarding, trial and freemium flows, activation instrumentation, and in-product growth surfaces engineered to convert intent into activation and expansion into revenue.

Admin & operations tooling

Internal admin consoles, feature-flag operations, customer-success tooling and support runbooks, engineered as first-class internal products rather than one-off scripts.

Public APIs, webhooks & SDKs

External developer surfaces, versioned REST and GraphQL APIs, event webhooks, official SDKs, and reference documentation, engineered for integration partners and enterprise customers to build on.

Marketplaces & integration ecosystems

Marketplace and ecosystem infrastructure, integration frameworks, partner sandboxes, listing operations and revenue-share models, enabling third parties to extend the platform in a governed way.

Data platform & customer analytics

Product analytics, customer telemetry and warehouse pipelines, designed both for internal insight (retention, expansion, churn) and for exposing tenant-scoped analytics to your customers.

Enterprise readiness

Audit logging, custom domains, data residency, private networking, contractual SLAs, procurement questionnaires and enterprise support tiers, engineered to unblock enterprise sales cycles.

Security & compliance

Programme alignment to SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA and PCI-DSS as applicable, with secure-by-design architecture, threat modelling, and evidence produced as part of delivery.

Reliability engineering & SRE

Service-level objectives, error budgets, incident response, capacity planning and continuous performance engineering, established as ongoing engineering practices, not one-off exercises.

White-label & configurability

Per-tenant branding, configuration and workflow customisation, engineered as platform capabilities rather than fork-and-modify patterns, keeping every customer on a single, evolvable codebase.

Engagement model

A structured, iterative approach from discovery to operation.

Our delivery framework integrates strategy, design, engineering and operations under a single model, designed for transparency, adaptability and outcome alignment.

01

Discover

A structured discovery to align on business objectives, target segments, competitive landscape, technical constraints and success measures. The output is a shared framing and a phased delivery plan.

02

Design & architect

Concurrent product design and technical architecture, including tenancy model, identity strategy, pricing architecture and integration surface. Reference implementations validate the highest-risk assumptions early.

03

Build & release

Iterative delivery with weekly increments, integrated quality practices and progressive rollout. Cross-functional teams span design, engineering, quality, platform and go-to-market technology.

04

Operate & evolve

Post-release support, reliability engineering, security-programme operations and continuous improvement. Knowledge transfer is designed into the engagement, not appended to it.

Technology

A broad, modern SaaS technology stack.

Framework and platform selection is guided by your existing landscape, team capability and long-term product strategy, not by preference.

Frequently asked

Common questions from prospective clients.

If your question isn't addressed here, please reach us at hello@tekansa.com.

01What types of SaaS engagements do you deliver?

We deliver a full range of SaaS engagements, from zero-to-one product builds and vertical-SaaS launches through platform modernisation, enterprise-readiness programmes and scale-focused reliability engagements. Engagements are scoped around business outcomes and staffed with the right composition of product, design, engineering, platform and go-to-market capability.

02How do you approach multi-tenant architecture and data isolation?

Tenancy is treated as a foundational architectural decision, not a late-stage optimisation. We select between shared-database, pool and silo models based on your customer profile, data-residency requirements, performance characteristics and cost envelope, and design isolation, access control and observability accordingly. Migration between tenancy models is planned where applicable.

03How do you design pricing, billing and metering infrastructure?

Billing is engineered as a first-class platform capability. Our practice supports recurring, usage-based and hybrid pricing, entitlements, dunning and revenue recognition, integrated with tax engines and financial systems. Where standard providers such as Stripe fit the strategy we use them; where the pricing model demands custom metering we engineer it, with clean seams for future replacement.

04How do you approach enterprise readiness and compliance?

Enterprise readiness is delivered as a structured programme, covering SSO, SCIM, audit logging, data residency, private networking, custom domains, contractual SLAs and procurement documentation, alongside alignment to SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA and PCI-DSS where applicable. Compliance evidence is produced as part of delivery.

05How do you work with existing product, design and engineering teams?

Our delivery model is designed to complement client product, design and engineering organisations. Roles and responsibilities are defined at engagement outset, and knowledge transfer is embedded in delivery, through pairing, code review, documentation and structured handovers, so client teams operate the platform confidently at exit.
