Insurance,
engineered for the claim.
Policy administration, claims, distribution, actuarial and AI-native customer experience, engineered around the moment a customer needs the policy to work, not around the vendor demo.
The territory, in four numbers we hold ourselves to.
Insurance is measured by claims paid quickly and correctly, everything else is preparation. These are the numbers we design against.
- 30–50%
- Claims cycle cut
- STP
- First-notice
- Solvency II
- Native
- 6–10
- Weeks
Typical uplift on end-to-end claims modernisation engagements
Straight-through-processing on simple claims where evidence supports it
And IFRS 17, NAIC and jurisdiction-aligned architectures
To first working slice on a scoped claims or policy programme
The insurance formats we build for.
Insurance spans a family of specialities with very different reserving, distribution and claims realities. We tailor architecture and delivery cadence to the line of business you actually run.

MGAs & brokers
Distribution platforms, quote-and-bind, portfolio management and carrier connectivity engineered for margin.
Services we deliver into insurance.
Every insurance engagement blends actuarial modelling, regulated systems and modern engineering. These are the practices we most commonly deploy into insurers, reinsurers, MGAs and insurtechs, each linked to its dedicated practice page.
The insurance estate we engineer end to end.
The insurers that pull ahead treat policy, claims, distribution, data and customer estates as one connected system, measured by claims outcomes, not by vendor bundles.

- Product engine, quote-and-bind, endorsements and lifecycle on Guidewire, Duck Creek or modernised bespoke platforms.
- 02Claims

- 03Underwriting & pricing
- Underwriting workbenches, pricing models, exposure management and rating engines, with actuarial governance from day one.
- 04Distribution & customer
- Direct, broker, aggregator and embedded distribution, with agent workbenches, quote flows and customer surfaces engineered as products.
- 05Data, actuarial & regulatory
- Policy and claims data platforms, IFRS 17 and Solvency II reporting, portfolio analytics and RWE-style feedback loops.
- 06AI, fraud & prevention

What clients ask us first
01Guidewire, Duck Creek or bespoke, how do we choose?
By product mix, distribution model and integration reality. Vendor platforms win where the product mix aligns with their configuration surface and speed-to-market matters. Bespoke or heavily-extended platforms win where the differentiation lives in the product engine or where a heavily-connected ecosystem needs first-class integration. Most real estates end up hybrid; we're deliberate about where the seam lives.
02Where does AI genuinely earn its place in insurance?
In pricing and reserving with proper actuarial governance, in fraud detection where signal is real, in claims triage grounded in policy documents, in medical-report summarisation, in underwriting copilots and in customer-service assistants. In every case model governance, evaluation and human-in-the-loop are engineered, because regulated environments do not ship AI without evidence.
03How do you handle Solvency II, IFRS 17 and jurisdiction-specific regulation?
As engineering, not documentation. Reporting, capital modelling, disclosures and audit trails are engineered into the platform. Evidence is generated by delivery. IFRS 17 in particular is a first-class engineering programme in every long-duration engagement, not a compliance appendix.
04How do you handle telematics and connected data?
As product signals, not just marketing. Telematics from motor, connected-home sensors, wearables and industrial IoT feed underwriting, prevention and claims evidence. We engineer the pipelines, model governance and customer-consent surfaces so the data is usable and defensible.
05How do you approach claims modernisation without disrupting service?
As rolling waves with parallel-run, reconciliation and same-day rollback, because claims cannot afford disruption. We modernise by claim type or line of business, run the new alongside the old with reconciliation on identity and value, and cut over only when the replacement has earned trust in production.
